We are Ilona, Ville and Suvi – a family living with cats in Helsinki, Finland. We breed abyssinians in a very small scale because breeding means to us a great responsibility. The good health and lovely temperament of the cats born in our home are our main priorities – without forgetting the real aby look!
All our cats live as our full family members and they have free access to everywhere in our home. Our cats and the kittens we raise are indoor cats only and they should stay that way. Abyssinians are very curious cats by nature so they would encounter many situations of danger outside. Cats enjoy their life indoors if they have enough room and activities – friends, climbing trees and different kinds of toys. Although our home (Haga Gammelgård, built 1836) is spacious enough for even larger amount of cats and we have no neighbours, we like to keep it simple. Now we are planning to build new and larger catrun to our garden for our cats.
You can often meet us in FIFe shows both in Finland and abroad with members of our club URK. Suvi is also vicepresident of URK and veterinarian member of both Breeding council and Healthy committee of Suomen kissaliitto SRK. Don’t hesitate to contact us – we even like to make new friends...
